Release Notes
In Workplace Mobile 4.1.4 for iOS/iPadOS, we have resolved the following:
Issues
When photos were either taken using the Workplace Mobile app or uploaded via the Workplace app, the geographical identification metadata was missing from the image files. All GeoTag information is now retained with the files.
We've added a mechanism that allows users to recover files saved or a project or parent folder on a mobile device if the project has been deleted via Workplace Online. The user will now be prompted, upon reconnection to Workplace Mobile, with a Save As option for the affected file(s).
When multiple files were selected, the expected Copy & Move option was temporarily unavailable. The option has been reinstated in this context, and the Copy & Move function can now be performed on multiple files at once.
When Workplace was installed on an iOS mobile device and installation approval was required, the Retry option was not available if the Workplace app had been closed on the mobile device. This made device approval impossible without uninstalling and reinstalling Workplace Mobile and keeping the app open until approval was complete. The issue has been resolved and the Retry function now operates as designed.
When opening a password-protected .pdf from Workplace Mobile, the app closed unexpectedly. With the resolution of this issue, the user will see an Open With... prompt, at which time they can complete the open process via the third party app.
A very small number of users experienced an issue in which attempts to upload a .pdf file via Workplace Mobile causes the app to crash. The issue has been resolved for those users and .pdf uploads are now successful.
Some Android users were unable to open Microsoft Office files via Workplace Mobile and received a message indicating that the required application was not installed, even though it was. The issue has been resolved and MS Office files are now accessible via Workplace Mobile.
