Start or shut down the Workplace app

Workplace for Windows and Mac v10

SECURITY  All Workplace Desktop users

NAVIGATION  Applications/Program Files > launch Workplace

NAVIGATION  Taskbar/menu bar > > > Quit

Workplace for Windows ands Mac can be shut down or relaunched at any time.

When the Workplace app is not running, Workplace sync is temporarily suspended. Sync will resume when you start the Workplace app again.

NOTE  If you don't see the Quit option, your Workplace app preferences have been locked via policy.

NOTE  If you just want to pause Workplace operations for a period of time, please refer to Pause or resume the Workplace app.

How to...

  1. Go to your desktop or laptop's Applications/Program Files folder.
  2. Locate and launch the Datto Workplace application.
  1. Click the icon in your Task/menu bar.
  2. Click the icon.
  3. Select Quit.
