How do I move the Workplace Folder on my computer to a different location?

ANSWER  You can, except in Workplace for Mac (v10)

Workplace for Windows and Mac (v10)

Please refer to Change the Workplace drive letter (Windows only).

Workplace Desktop (v8)

At least one project must be synced before proceeding with the steps below.

To move the Workplace folder:

  1. Go to or > and select Quit.
  2. Move the Workplace folder to its new location.
  3. Re-launch the Workplace app (from Applications (Mac) or Program Files (Windows).
  4. You will be prompted to direct the app to the new location of the Workplace folder.
