Workplace for Windows and Mac v10.3.2

In the Manage multiple linked accounts interface, if you chose to remove an account, it was removed immediately, without a confirmation prompt. While you could always add the account again, we've added a confirmation in order to reduce the likelihood of removing accounts in error.

Following the release of Workplace for Windows and Mac 10.3.1, the warning window for "Unstable Internet Connection", which required user action to close, was displayed often enough to be disruptive. When such conditions exist, the event will still be logged, but the warning message will not longer display.

When viewed in Explorer, the create date for new projects was blank. The issue has been resolved, and create date/time values are captured and displayed correctly.

Moving a file within Workplace for Windows and Mac resulted in the Modified Date changing to the date of the move, rather than the last time the file itself was updated. Additionally, if a file was uploaded to Workplace, the Modified Date changed to the upload date. These behaviors are different from Windows behavior and are not expected. Moving a file within Workplace or uploading a file to Workplace will no longer affect the Modified date of the file.

When a project was partially shared with a user (some folders shared with them, some not shared), the user did not always see the sync icon when they right-clicked on the project in the Workplace app. The sync icon is now always available on partially shared projects.

The Workplace Outlook plugin was sometimes disabled by Outlook for slowing it down. We've updated the plugin to check for the presence of a registry record for the Outlook plugin, and to add it if it is absent.

In certain scenarios, a new file download started while the same file was already being downloaded. We have added need an extra check to ensure that only one download is initiated per request.

Attempts to open a very large .ppt file from Workplace over a poor connection resulted in the display or an error message. Sometimes multiple tries were required before the file successfully opening. We've added a serialized file access control to resolve the issue.

In an edge case related to Active Directory, updating from Workplace for Windows and Mac 10.2.6.32 to 10.3 or later prevented the Workplace app from being configured and/or connecting to the service. The issue has been resolved.

Some Workplace for Windows and Mac apps were not automatically updated with new releases. The issue has been resolved and auto-update of v10 Workplace now performs as expected.

When attempting to open an uncached file while offline, the error message that displayed did not explicitly state the cause of the problem. The message now advises the user to connect to the internet in order to access the file.
