Release Notes
We're pleased to present our 2021.2.1 Service Update. In addition to a variety of minor enhancements and stability improvements, the following issues are resolved in this release:
When a public share for a supported Microsoft Office document was created with editing enabled, the editing function was not available. The issue has been resolved and all appropriate functions are now available for public shares.
In some cases, attempts to edit a particular team resulted in the display of an error message. It was, however, possible edit to other teams. The team edit function now behaves as designed for all teams.
When uploading multiple large (500 MB+) files to a Workplace folder via Workplace Online, the progress indicator showed that all files had finished uploading, but one file did not appear in the destination folder. The browser session did not time out and there were no memory issues. The bug as been resolved and uploads of multiple large files now function properly.
NOTE Please be advised that after a simultaneous upload of several large files has completed, the page is automatically refreshed. But because some files are still being processed in the background, they may not appear in the folder immediately. There is no data loss, however; they will appear in their destination location in a few seconds.
Changes to files intended to be synced to the Workplace service did not complete upload. As a result, changes made locally had not updated the files in the cloud. The issue has been resolved.
We had reports of devices that began hard-syncing all files in a project to a local machine, even though only a few folders/files from the project ought to have downloaded. This behavior could lead to space issues on these devices. The issue has been resolved and only files designated for offline use are hard-synced.
