Workplace for Windows and Mac v10.2.6
April 29, 2021
Release Notes
We're pleased to announce the release of Workplace for Windows and Mac v10.2.6, which introduces the following:
Features
Workplace utilizes kernel extensions to mount the Workplace volume, which allows it to access files on your Mac. Users with M1 devices must enable Reduced Security mode in order to run applications that use kernel extensions.
Workplace for Mac v10 is now supported on Macs with M1 chips, but you must take some steps in order for it to work properly. For detailed instructions, please refer to How do I install Workplace on a Mac with an Apple Silicon (M1) Chip?
Issue Resolutions
In v10, if large files or folder were cut and copied into a project, then cut and copied from the same source to another project or another location, the folder moved but the files were lost. They were present in the cache, but neither operation completed.
We've introduced a check to confirm that there are no cut/copy operations pending in the source folder before allowing another move.
Files generated by Agtek (.esw file extension) were not saving and syncing to Workplace correctly. The issue only occurred when updating and saving .esw files already present on the v10 volume, within the same folder from which the file originated. We've updated the agent to resolve the issue.
The 25GB volume size resulted in the inability to copy files larger than 25GB into the volume. We've increased the volume size to 1 TB and really, really do not expect further issues related to volume size.
