Release Notes
We're pleased to announce the release of Workplace for Windows and Mac v10.4.5. The stability and security of our service is always central to our development efforts. All releases contain improvements related to that goal; those improvements may also enhance app performance.
In addition, this release includes the following changes, enhancements, and issue resolutions:
Enhancements and changes
As you know, Workplace for Windows displays notifications having to do with Workplace functions, connectivity, etc. These notifications were sometimes a distraction and, at times, overlapped with notifications displayed by your own operating system, resulting in a less than ideal user experience.
In this release, we've leveraged the notification systems native to your operating system to remove redundancy and provide a more customizable experience. You can now control your Workplace notification settings as you would for any app: Settings > Notification & actions
We're happy in introduce the following search function improvements.

In Workplace for Windows, search terms will now be highlighted in the search results, making it easier to find where your search criteria appear in your results:

We've also increased the speed of the Workplace for Windows search function by searching the local file structure even as we are simultaneously searching the Workplace service.

In Workplace for Mac, we've improved the search interface to display the search status while the search is executed, as well as a results count upon search completion.
We've streamlined the Workplace app Network tab to be responsive to your team's policy profile settings and to display only the necessary settings:
We've improved our ARM64 processor support. The right click context menu for Workplace files will now display as expected.
Fixes
We have also made several minor interface corrections and some minor back end enhancements to improve both the stability of Workplace for Windows and Mac and your user experience.
