Getting started: Configure Workplace Manager
About Workplace Manager
Workplace Manager is a web portal that allows you to provision Workplace for your customers.
When you become a partner, we'll set up a Workplace Manager site for you and you'll receive an email with login credentials. You can then configure your site, and add user accounts for your staff before you start adding customer teams, users, and devices.
Configure Workplace Manager
The following elements are configurable:
My Account
Workplace Manager users can change their password and regional settings of their own user account. Refer to Manage your Workplace Manager user account.
IMPORTANT If you already have a Workplace Online login with the same email address, this account will be your primary account, and you must always log in using that. Refer to Manage multiple linked accounts.
Team Defaults
The Team Defaults area allows you to configure defaults for the policies which control all the configurable behaviors and features in Workplace. It also allows you to set up default field values that will be automatically applied every time you create a new team. For more information, please refer to Set Team Defaults.
Workplace Branding
When we first activate your Workplace Manager site, our default logo and color scheme, as well as the name we used to set up your site, will be used. You can apply your own branding to this site at any time. Refer to Workplace Branding.
Support Settings
The footer of the Workplace Online sites you create for your customer teams contains a Support link that opens a popup that displays information on how your customers can contact you for support. This information is also accessible to your customer teams from the About tab of Workplace Desktop. For information on how to configure the support information, refer to Set up your support information.
